This AI Disclosure explains how Cartexel.AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) in delivering its services.
This disclosure should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
1. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Cartexel.AI uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to assist users in generating, enriching, transforming, and optimising digital content, including:
- Text (e.g. product descriptions, metadata, marketing copy)
- Images (e.g. enhancements, background generation, visual assets)
- Videos (e.g. video generation or transformation using prompts or images)
AI outputs are generated based on user-provided inputs, instructions, and configuration settings.
2. Human Oversight
AI-generated outputs:
- Are not reviewed or approved by us before delivery
- Require human review, validation, and approval before use or publication
Users remain solely responsible for determining whether AI-generated outputs are accurate, appropriate, and lawful for their intended use.
3. Customer Instructions & Re-Enrichment (IMPORTANT)
3.1 Instruction-Based Improvements
Cartexel.AI allows customers to provide explicit instructions to guide or refine AI-generated outputs.
This commonly occurs when a customer:
- Requests a re-enrichment of previously generated content, or
- Seeks to improve specific aspects of product data (e.g. tone, structure, attributes, clarity, SEO focus)
All such instructions are:
- Provided voluntarily by the customer
- Processed only at the customer’s request
- Used solely to improve outputs for that customer
3.2 One-Time vs Persistent Instructions
When providing instructions, customers may choose to:
- Apply instructions to a single instance only
(e.g. re-enriching one product or item), or - Update AI prompt preferences
(e.g. adjusting ongoing prompt rules, brand voice, or enrichment behaviour)
This choice is controlled by the customer. We do not apply persistent changes without the customer’s explicit action.
3.3 No Independent Use of Instructions
Customer instructions:
- Are not used to train public or general-purpose AI models
- Are not shared with other customers
- Are not reused beyond the scope selected by the customer
Instructions are treated as part of Customer Content and processed in accordance with our contractual and privacy obligations.
4. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Originality
AI systems are probabilistic in nature and may:
- Produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results
- Generate content that resembles existing works
- Reflect limitations or biases present in training data
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be:
- Accurate
- Original
- Error-free
- Compliant with applicable laws or third-party platform policies
5. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- Reviewing all AI-generated content before use
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Ensuring appropriate licences, permissions, and rights exist for:
- Uploaded content
- Generated images or videos
- Any derivative works created using the Services
Cartexel.AI does not provide legal, regulatory, or professional advice.
6. Training of AI Models
We do not use Customer Content, including customer instructions or re-enrichment feedback, to train public or general-purpose AI models.
Customer data is processed only:
- To deliver the requested Services
- In accordance with documented customer instructions
- Subject to contractual and legal safeguards
7. Third-Party AI Providers
We may use third-party AI model providers and infrastructure services to deliver AI functionality.
Such providers process data under contractual safeguards designed to protect confidentiality, security, and privacy.
8. Ethical & Responsible Use
Users may not use the Services to:
- Create deceptive or misleading content
- Generate unauthorised impersonations or deepfakes
- Infringe intellectual property or personal rights
- Engage in unlawful or harmful activities
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access for misuse in accordance with our Terms of Service.
9. Transparency & Updates
AI technologies evolve rapidly. We may update this disclosure to reflect:
- Changes in AI capabilities
- Legal or regulatory developments
- Updates to our Services
Material changes will be reflected on this page.
10. EU AI Act Transparency Notice
Certain content generated using the Services may be considered artificial intelligence–generated or synthetic under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
Customers are responsible for determining whether disclosure of AI-generated content is required in their specific use case and jurisdiction.
